What is the Point of the Tool Box in the Boot ?

Has anyone ever had to use anything from the tool box to make a running repair, or is it pointless ? :wink:

True, but some people don't put them in the car so they don't get dirty/rusty etc..

and then when a hose drops off whilst they are driving - no screw driver to fix it back on again :smt043

A day back I was bored so I decided to check out my trunk a bit, as I'm a big fan of swiss-army knife.

I took it out to clean the rust in there, lube them all and put them back.

My scissors jack was all well rusted, like a solid block of dumbell, now it's working fine.

I guess they are good for showing off too a prospective buyer :-D

Oh, what a joy it would be to own a Lotus logo pocket knife

I have the tool box that doesn't have the Lotus logo pocket knife. I know several people who lust after those knifes. Now if Lotus designed and put their logo on some trick knifes they could probably sell a few. A bit of carbon fiber, a bit of titanium, a good locking blade - yum
