LEC Mugs

Postby algirdas » Fri 16.03.2007, 02:13

Dear Doug and Paul:

I realize that my ability to schedule and travel these days is not very reliable, but I am trying to get over there right after Easter. I will be seeing Geoff and Dans and possible a few others. If I make it over, I could pick up the mugs and try to get them back here in one piece.

Sincerely,

Algirdas

Just a note to say a big thankyou to all of those generous people - you know who you are - who bought a mug to help support the LEC cause. :-D

And a big "shame on you" to all those people - you know who you are - who didn't!

Overall, it was a great weekend. Thanks to everyone for making it so enjoyable!
Cheers, Paul

No problem Paul. I'm also looking after Algirdas' slate, so I can even pay you for his and maybe Doug's if Algirdas can arrange the dollar exchange in the US.

Thanks for that Geoff.

I'll check that both Doug and Algirdas are happy with the arrangement, but my guess is that Doug will prefer Al to bring it back and then post it that side of the pond.

The less miles that a package does in the hands of the postal companies the better (or safer!)

Speak to you soon Geoff.

Great mugs! Cheers!

I think there were many who wanted them but didn't catch up with the purchasing arrangements. Don't worry, they should all sell!

Thanks for all your efforts!

Christened my mug last night with a slug of whisky before retiring. Well done to Paul for all his efforts.

RED MUGS

Postby GeoffSmith » Fri 23.03.2007, 21:08

Due to popular demand, a number of limited edition red logo mugs have been made. Only 12 of these mugs have been produced and no more wil be produced in this style. Due to the exclusivity, multi-coloured printing and generally superior colour  , the price is £10 each, of which £3 goes to the somewhat stretched LEC kitty. Delivery could be arranged at cost if necessary.

Gareth,

Nige has all the mugs at the moment. There are plenty of yellow on black ones but not so many green on white ones, so you should get two no problem. The kitty is a bit low at the moment (well negative actually) so any additional sales would be useful - let's start another list!

Geoff I think it's the other way round. The black ones went more quickly.

Hmmm. I think you're right Neil but Nige definitely quoted 5 white and 67 black left. That's got to be wrong because advance sales of the black was more than 5!

You might be lucky then Gareth - failing that, there are some beautiful red on white and very tasteful green on white mugs available!

Definitely only 5 of the green on white left and 67 of the yellow on black (unless of course the unopened box which clearly states black on the outside does actually contain white  I'll open it to check this evening).

I intend taking Mugs etc to the Southern Area meet next week to try and sell a few and transfer some stock to Ailwyn for sale to the 'Bollecks'.

Gareth no worries about you getting a couple of Black and yellow as even if my count is wrong and the unopened box are all white there are still 31 black ones left.

That's a surprise. And a bit of a miscalculation (by me) too - thinking that there were loads left I gave my white/green mug to Nick Chase for letting me stay at his place the night before Brands!

Nige, please can you put a white/green one to one side for me?
I'll send some money to Geoff & collect it next time I see you.

Gareth, I forgot that Dave (shortshift) had already asked for a yellow one. Hopefully there will be enough to go around.
