Are both hoops equal 
They just don`t look right to me or maybe it`s just the angle of the camera
IMHO think the bottom mounting were the speakers go is over engineered, going to the seat belt mount on the sill and the 2 bolts nearest the tunnel would have been enough which IIRC thats how DaveM`s roll bar is fitted.
