Mirror Control Switch?

Does anyone have any idea what GM product the electric mirror switch in the center console (heated mirrors) as sourced from? The rocker button seems to have been ripped from the switch assy. by the detailer.

I'm pretty sure it's off the 90's Cavalier and Carlton. If you can't find one of those at the scrappies, they also use it in the MacLaren F1 (pick up the front sidelights while you're there).

I think the odds of finding a switch in a 90's Cavalier are slightly better

Thank you But I only wanted to give you the Articlenumber of Opel/Vauxhall. And for this I must know how many wires it should have, cause there are similar items with different numbers.

If sourcing a Cav one from a GM dealer, (or a scrapped Cav) make sure you get the older type.
My G plate Cav had te same switch as the Elan, my friend's J plate has the later arrangement with no heating button/light on the switch because it is activated by the same circuit as the heated rear window.

Both my earlier Frontera (L Reg) and corsa (W reg) both had simular switches. Don't know if that helps.

That's a surprise. Knowing GM prices a little, I would expect that switch to be around £30.

I have just replaced my mirror switch and indeed it was from a Frontera.

Don't know if this helps anyone, but this is the mirror switch in a Saturn Aura (Vauxhall Vectra) rental car. Looks familiar, although without the heater element (might be a higher spec option).

yeah, my Saab 9-3 (GM product) has the same mirror switch, minus the heating element button. (The mirror heat goes on with the rear window defogger switch.)
