Ian, look in the hood, bodywork section & you will find a company called Trim Tech, they should be able to help !

Ian,

I purchased a set of seals from Trim Tech a while ago for £250 + £15 P&P.
Their web site lists them at over £300, but he had a deal on e-bay at the time, and honoured the discount price for me when i spoke direct.

As for the elastic, i just went to a local 'poundland' shop and bought some black elastic for (surprisingly  ) a quid!

As it happens, i never fitted the seals as the ones on the car are good, and it's the 'A' pillar ones i need (like everyone else!).

I still have them (sealed in the original bag) behind the sofa i'm sitting on at the moment, so if you want a set, they are yours for the price i paid (unless you can get them cheaper from Trim Tech at the moment).

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

I found the elastic straps at my local craft store. Any ~2 inches elastic strap would do the job. They are in the roll and can be purchased at any length you want. Very cheap.

Marie replaced her elastic strap with some nylon straps of the same width. The idea is that the elasticity will die over time ... soon enough on your convertible, so she use nylon straps instead. :smt023

That's what I would use for my next replacement. Hope this helps.
