OK guys, the idea is you enter the chat room each time you go online, then leave it running...in another window....then whenever anyone else comes on eventually....if somone puts a proper link on the ste for it...people will go onto it as soon as they visit the forum and there should be several people on most of the time

It seems to work pretty well.
It doesn't play a sound or maximise when someone types a response so you have to position the window so that you can see when someone has messaged.
Also you can't see if people are typing or not, but Mikey says that's something that can be looked at.
Pretty good for a first attempt though, and I'm sure it could prove very useful.

G,

Put your name in the "your username" field and then hit the "Chat" button at the bottom of the page.

Don't register, just put a name in.

The chat button is right at the bottom of the login screen, if you hit that you should then go to the chatroom, which has a list of names down the right hand side and a big white window for the text, below the window you should see a small box with a send button, type in the small box... then send.

Which screen are you getting to, the first or the second?

Not just you... All I get it this...

if I hit the chat button, I just get the same screen again, just with one more user.

An idiots guilde would be welcomed.
