Well i put my car back to standard this weekend and then luckily received the usb for the elanscan so took it for a run.

Here are the results, not sure what`s happening but it doesn`t boost particually well

On hard acceleration the boost gauge reached the top, the engine management light came on for a short time and the car was lumpy for about 10 seconds

Anyone have a look and see what`s going on??

I've had a quick look and think your wastegate is stuck - what you experienced is fuel cutoff due to overboost. There are several times when your boost gets up towards 1 bar and you aren't even at full throttle. I suggest you check out the wastegate wiggle thread but do the job properly and remove the actuator end before trying to wiggle!

Fantastic, i`ll give it a go. You are correct and that the boost was creeping up to 1bar and i wasn`t even near full throttle.

At first i thought it may well be the dreaded boost creep as i have the peco exhaust.

I`ll give it a good wiggle at the weekend and see what it does. Strange that it`s only just happened as i put the car back to standard.

I think what Ailwyn means is that your car has possibly being overboosting for a while, but you just haven't noticed it because the FCD previously disabled the ECU's defence mechanism against things like stuck wastegates.

Now that you have let the ECU see that the wastegate is stuck and giving more boost than is healthy, it has cut the fuel and set an error code to warn you to get it seen to before something breaks. It hasn't kicked you in the nuts, it has done what it's meant to do and tried to save your engine.

That's one reason why Mountain chips are the best way to get extra performance - they retain the ECU defences.

The Fuel Cut Defeater fools the ECU into thinking the boost is within the acceptable levels, where in fact it could be a lot higher. Once you remove this the ECU sees the higher boost and kicks into limp home mode temporarilly.

Well with the fcd out, the wastegate wiggled and the proper actuator fitted this is the scan i`ve taken this afternoon.

Does it look normal to anyone?? the car did seem to drive as it should
