Can't remember exactly, but I got them delivered to a friend in the states whilst I was on holiday over there. I'm sure a quick e-mail to them will establish shipping costs. If you search this forum, I'm sure there was a group buy done on these leads in the past, which is where I found out about them in the first place.

Try Kingsborne or Magnecor. A bit of web searching should turn up dealers; both list fitments for the Elan (turbo and NA).

"Firebraid" seems to be their trade name for a braided fibreglass sleeve fitted over the wires themselves. Look here.

Not sure the best place to record this tidbit for posterity, but this seems like a relevant thread.

The Accel ACC-7911 plug leads that are listed in some of the cross reference lists on this forum DO NOT fit my engine. For my car, the stems on these wires that lead to the plugs were too long so the setup is too "tall" and doesn't fit under the coverplate over the plugs. I'm not sure if there is a "short" version of these leads that might fit or if I possibly had my order mis-filled.

I heartily recommend the Kingsborne wires. They fit perfectly, are inexpensive and if you call them and mention the LEC group buy from last September, they may be willing to extend the special $22.50 price (don't know for sure, but their friendly folks and it's a family run business and they fawned all over my Elan when I picked up the group buy order.) Make sure they throw in 2 x 2-wire and 2 x 4-wire separators. Makes for a nice clean installation.

And Knut, if you're tempted, don't waste your money on Accel coils; I had a brand new one burn out after just a few hundred miles and it took a plug wire with it. There are many web references to failing accel coils, too. MSDs are a better bet, IMO.

I was perhaps the 1st person to order ACCEL leads when they started listing them for the M100. That was B4 I ever dealt with Kingsbourne, so it had to be over 5 years ago. I would guess that ACCEL developed it for the Isuzu Impulse RS and mistakenly assumed it would also fit the Elan.
