Holidays

Postby Sy V » Mon 16.07.2007, 10:09

WEF this evening, I'll be on holiday in Ireland for the next week.
So behave, and if you can't be good, at least be funny and don't give Doug too much to do!
Yes, the house will be occupied, so it's no use thinking you can come and raid the parts tent!
Taking family with me as it just happens to coincide with a two-game Wolverhampton Wanderers pre-season tour.

Tour shirt already sorted and reads.

    THE DOOG
    10
    RIP

Except, luckily the printing on the shirt's centered!

Sadly missed indeed Geoff.
I had the honour of meeting him 3 times in all (not often that a boy gets to meet his childhood hero) - he was in business in the eighties with one of my brothers and I still have the books he wrote and signed for me. A nicer bloke you could never wish to meet.

He got a bit of a special send-off too.

He used to get a bit of sick at St. James', but so did all the good ones! He might not have been as 'well tuned' as modern players but he always put in a shift and a half.

Treat her to real holiday, like 1 week, not one day you tight fisted ******.

Next you'll be telling me they've got computers in the Emerald Isle.

What more could a boy want?

As a fellow Wolves supporter I have to say that when you have to go, thats the coffin to have.

Have a good holiday Si, hope to see you at the factory event. You can park your Lotii at Wensum and join us on the bus if you want.....seeing as how we always seem to see you at the same events.

Mine and yours:
