Keys locked in boot!

Postby redelan » Mon 23.07.2007, 11:42

Yeah, another one! But I gather Russc has the answer for SE boots and has given it out to several long-standing members.

Completely understand that info like this shouldn't be given to newbies until they've proved who they are so is there anyone who lives near me (I'm in Hindhead - SW corner of Surrey, near W Sussex and E Hants) who knows the answer and would be willing to meet briefly near them so I can show them my id and vehicle dox to prove who I am.

Fairly desperate as phone also in boot!

Anything to even up that weight distribution I suppose - remove that big horrible spinny thing at the front, add guff in the boot...anything else?!? :P

:offtopic:

Get yourself a spare key cut. Easier said than done though. There are two similar types, blanks of which are both US only I believe.

I believe Muley had some blanks of both types.

;-)

I have removed Mikee's instructional post from this thread.

Mikee, no offense but we distribute the instructions for access to the boot via PM and e-mail to avoid 'guests' gaining valuable knowledge that could be put to criminal use.

:agree:

I have never distributed it on here any only ever passed it to members of the forum. It would be good if we could keep it to the same.
