Index of new posts

Is there a way to see a listing of the newests posts all at once, with the subject? I go the forum index, look for dates of the last post in each area, and then click to see what the subject area is. That's a lot of clicking to see if it's something I'm currently interested in. If there's an easier way, I'd like to know about it. Maybe there is, and I'm just too dense to have figured it out. If there's not, then I'd like to suggest a thread on the forum index where the most recent 50 or so posts automatically show with when they were posted, by whom, and subject.

have you seen the "View unread posts" click spot on the top right of the main Forum page ?? Just click it and you get a list of you unread posts. You can zero it by checking all posts read, which you can do on the bottom left of the main Forum page (just above "Who's Online")

I guess this is the nearest related topic to the question that I'd like to ask of the admins, so here goes:
How difficult would it be to incorporate a "mark topic UNread" feature?
Reason for asking is that if I look at a topic while at work and decide that's it's something that would benefit from having a bit more thought put into a contribution later, it would be good to be able to flag it for follow-up by moving it back to the unread list.
I hope I described that in a way that made sense!

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, on the left hand side, just above the copyright notice you'll see a link to bookmark the topic.

You'll be able then to go into your profile area (user control panel), select the Overview tab, then "Manage Bookmarks" in the left hand menu.

In the bottom right of the posting box is a 'Mark post unread' tab. (well, there is on mine!)

Then when you get home and log on, as you default to the unread postings as your home page, the same thread should be there (it works for me!).

It's because you're a computer boffin who knows how to set it up from a directory point of view.......

Steady on, the Melbourne Arms is not THAT big you know - I'd only accounted for 50 people!

BTW now that I've experimented with this newly discovered feature I can confirm that it works very well!
