Hello

Postby G UK » Wed 17.10.2007, 20:00

Finally managed to fight may way past the anti-bot question from hell , only took two days to get a question that didnt involve trying to read what a small squiggle on a multicolour background is meant to be.

First a bit about myself, I'm an Engineer living in Sutton-in-Ashfield in Notts and currently own a Mitsubishi Gallant V6 and previously owned a Mk1 Eunos Roadster which I really liked and have always regretted getting rid of (wish I'd kept it along with the Mitsy), I've been lurking about on this site for the past couple of weeks unregistered and finally thought I'd actually say hello.

Anyway, I'm currently on the lookout for my first Elan and am in fact going to look at one near Leicester from on E-Bay tomorrow. I seem to remember reading in a post somewhere during my last couple of weeks of lurking that it belonged to somebody on here.

:D Hello, good luck with your searching, it's a good time of year to buy, price's are more reallistic  the more you look at the more you tend to notice, I've only had mine for a couple of weeks ,it turned out to be the first one I looked at, I also looked and drove four others at various price's and had to go back to the first to compare.
The LEC was a great source of help and advice :-D

Thanks for the welcome guys. Nice bit of advice about the fault codes, used to have something similar on the Eunos so should be easy enough to do.

Welcome.

Joining the forum before buying was a good decision. I did it the other way around and got lucky.

Elans are a whole load of fun. You're gonna love driving it.
