Before Richard goes rummaging through the kitchen drawers… When I read his first post I didn’t associate it with a dig against Clemo. Reading Neil’s post, and going back to the beginning, you can see how it might have been better put.
I’m not sure how having a few new bits constitutes a car being restored, or even refurbished. If it was only worth £4-5000 before, it won’t be much different now.
The money Richard’s spent is the cost of not asking in advance if it would be worth it. Not taking advice. Wanting the car to be right, and not doing the work himself.
On other posts, when the value of Elans crop up, nobody ever asks if it’s had a fan-revamp.
