Hi, I need to replace my CAS, it has become very noisy, and lately leaking oil, probably the bearing has gone, and the seal also.
I have been "googling" a bit, and have found that SJ has the part, but the price is over 200 pounds + VAT.... awesome.
In the US you can find it cheaper, but I've asked in a couple of Isuzu dealers and they will not ship overseas (to Spain).
No Isuzu dealers in Spain, here they only sell trucks.
Any other source?
Thanks!!!
yes it's mine and no you can't drive it

You might have trouble finding a CAS from another car that works. However you can get a new one by either calling Merlin @ St Charles Isuzu or here
http://www.isuzuparts.com/
the part number is 8011038181 and comes up as $89.48 plus shipping.
Does that help..

The Cam angle sensor is not longer available anywhere as far as I can tell. The bearing is a simple replacement. The bearing is a 6000LU 10mmx26mmx8mm. I got one for $15 at my local bearing supplier.
My daughters let me drive once in a while!

I had mine rebuilt locally. I tried to do it myself but found I needed a press to get everything apart.
