Try A100L0077F "grommet - pipe thro' body" it's in the induction section of the parts manual.

seem to remember this from a couple of years back and that the part was obsolete - could be wrong - it's late and i've got bolts on the brain!!

Cjay,

Not an exact replacement (but i think it's better than the lotus one 'cos it don't split like an out-of-date condom!)

SJ Sportscars:-
Fuel system | Air filter trunking
GROMMET, AIR PIPE tho INNER WING SJ100L0001 EACH 7.45

i did a group buy last year and ended up with about 40 of the buggers (unfortunately all sold!).

Everyone i know who had one is quite happy with it - it fits a treat and looks the part.

I believe it to actually be a fuel filler pipe seal off something or other, but don't know what!

there's a whole thread on it here

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

I got an OEM Lotus gromet a couple of years ago and it split within a few weeks...

I guess it had been on the rack 15 years..

Mine! :-D

It popped out a couple of times after first fitting it, but it's taken up the shape and is now fine.

IMO Dave's replacement grommet looks much nicer and neater than the OE rubber.

And much cheaper too - I replaced mine back in 2004 with an OE "condom" and Lotus screwed me £17.59 + VAT

I don't recall SJ's ever being at Donington - are you sure you're not getting mixed up with SW?
You might end up having to buy a few and bring them up with you.
