Original Carpet Supplier/ Lotus trim shop

Postby HIBUTK » Wed 13.02.2008, 05:53

I have been trying match up the original carpet so I can finish off the interior with the new red floors I got off ebayUK. Tried several manufacturers over here in the US. No match on fabric or color. Tried Coverdale over there and no match on fabric or color.

Any idea who was the original supplier to Lotus?

If not, anyone have the phone number directly to the Lotus trim shop?

Thanks

So many people on here have had interior re-trims done by the Lotus folks. I predict you'll have the number waiting for you when you get up in the morning.

Mike

I have his direct dial number but it's at home so:

Tel +44 (0)1953 608000 and ask the receptionist for Mel Broome (he has a very broad Norfolk accent with which you might struggle).

I'm a southerner all right. But not the type depicted in Hollywood with the drawl. But yes I do have trouble with British accents! Talk slow and loud!
Thanks all, I'll try the email first!

:D :D :D

Photo shows me trying to understand why this gentleman had such trouble keeping his Lotus's in one piece.

Everyone seems to be chasing after red carpeting.
Whilst trawling through ad's of another favourite 80's classic of mine, I had a thought.
Now this really is a long shot and nothing more than a thought before I get shot down.
Now I know they're not going to be an exact match etc. But the Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 had red carpeting (most at least). Could it be possible that this could be a source for some peoples fixs?
Like I say. Just a thought...

Please remember it's not us Brits that have the accent, that is simply something we exported :-D .
