Broken alternator Adjusting Bracket

Postby petestubbs » Fri 14.03.2008, 21:54

Hi,

Can anyone advise where I might get an alternator adjusting bracket please, mine has broken?

Its the small metal bracket that the alternator slides around in for adjusting the alternator belt.

It can be seen above the alternator when looking into the engine from above the alternator belt.

Would I need to go to Lotus, Isuzu or, better still, is there a unipart type number?

Many thanks in advance

Pete.

It would not be difficult to make one by the looks of things, if it can be welded then send it to me and I will sort it as I have a mig welder

Pete

It wouldn't have to be exactly the same so any scrappy should be able to help you.
