Will someone post up a stencil outline of the LOTUS logo, the triangle-in-circle one, which I can supply him with? I think silver-on-black, for sure. Red-on-black won't go nicely with all colours. Do we need it? See his on-site work for reference.

I hope the numbers haven't scared Matt away - the kitty should do well out of this venture.

If the guy agrees to make them I'll not be the financial front-man this time. All I offered to do was present the idea to him if interest warranted. It has so I will.

PS - But, if the guy won't ship to UK or wants to bilk for carriage (Have you picked one up? It weighs less that air! His are probably denser material though.) I will place a bulk order for those who PAY ME IN ADVANCE. However if his terms & shipping are reasonable then everyone can experience self-realization.

Did you guys notice this? I didn't until just now. Decals cannot be added to adhesive backed liners since the adhesive is on the smooth side

Does that change people's minds about wanting the LOTUS logo? I already sent him an email saying we wanted logos. Can't we just use spray adhesive?

The question is: Self-adhesive (like the OE ones from Lotus) -OR- with the LOTUS logo?

Matt,

Thanks very much! Yes I'd be glad to make a liner and decal for the Lotus Elan. You can send the factory pieces to me at the address below. Once I get them, it won't take long to make the prototype.

In the meantime I'll have my daughter digitize the decal. We can size it when the factory pieces get here. What colors would most people want the decal in? The usual colors are silver, red and white.

I can give you an estimated cost for the liner and postage once I have the exact size and weight. US postage is based on weight and size of the package. Overseas postage is based on weight.

Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yeah, I did notice this - just assumed we would go with the spray on adhesive as the Logo will look good :-) Lets not tell Lotus tho'
Silver or White for me, although Red would match the dials
