Hi,

Just bought these rims off of fleabay - £112 including 4 nearly new yokohamas! - the seller didn't put much of a description on them, and didn't really know what he had, so they didn't go far above the starting price!

Image

They are TSW Heat 17" with a 40mm offset.

I need to get some spigot rings for them, so I have just fitted one temporarily to see what it looks like - can't wait to get her on the road with her new rims!

I will post a better picture when I get chance.

Got to admit, they lookm better on the elan than they did on ebay!

I didn't even want the wheels as I've just reverted to the original alloys, but i wanted the Yokos - i was happy to start off at £70 but took my eye off the ball as things went on.

I'm glad someone on LEC got 'em though - they look better than many aftermarket wheels.

I finally decided what wheels to get for my -91.I think they match the design of the car perfect. They are 16".Tires are Goodyear F1, perfect!! The originals are used in wintertime with snowtires on (yes, i use the car all winter driving on snow and ice).

Just saw these on ebay. It says +50 offset, different finishes available, and the description does say "A set 17"..." so I'm pretty sure the price is for four wheels. Not bad for 199 GBP buy-it-now.

The wheels are make:INTER ACTION type:SPACE 7"x16" 42mm offset (they are not available with less).
The black/silver Lotus centre badges where bought from someone in this forum. I can't remember who.

No, i don't use spacers.
Spacers will make it worse, when the offset should have been 60mm ?

This was a real hard choice for me, 17 for the looks or stock 16's with the right off set or a light 15" for
the performance.

The 15"ers won, 12 pounds each 15X8 with a 36 offset. The tires are Hankook R S3's, 225-45-15.
After a VERY hard test drive today, I'm very happy with my choise. You can feel just a bit
more torque steer under power, but it's not near as bad as it was with out the Quaife and stock
wheels.
