This seal is the new and mine old.
This seal fits both sides up and down perfect in the carrier seal and

A PILLAR SEALS

Postby John Tsakas » Thu 03.04.2008, 11:13

Yes, i have no problem with water, there that fitting with the window.
From the upper size if the seal of the roof it is good you have no problem,
if its not good then you have a little leak.
My opinion for these cars it's that you don't go out for a coffee if you know
the weather that it goes for rain.(Take your everyday car for once)
Then if you are out or returning from a nice trip and it rains when the car
is moving you have no leaks at all. If you stop and it rains a lot all
the cars have problems with little leaks. My brother has a new car the
renault megane coupe with metallic roof and he have problem with leaks.
Think this car that it is 18 years old and has a little leaks.
I am very happy with these seal because the face of the car looks nice.

You can get this type of strip seal from a motor factor for less than £10

Are you saying this seal leaks when the car stops?

I'm not knocking your solution John, I'm just concerned you are paying too much for your seal.
I think you have a better solution than the old seals you have, with out a doubt. I like the fact that you have done something about the problem you have been faced with.

No, nobody is accusing anybody of making money and we're all trying to help each other.
I think there is a small language disconnect here, that's all...
