To an old dog like me, all humans look the same (now the scent is another matter...) Of course, I'm only a dog sometimes. The rest of the time I'm married but not dead, so of COURSE I looked at the car second!

"Ex Stripey"? "Stripeless"? "The Elan formerly known as Stripey"? "The Elan"?!? (I'm getting into "Prince territory" here!) :-D

Hey Ekapol, if you posted those pics in reverse order would they almost join?

Very nice by the way.

Kinda look like this guy HERE :smt017

I asked Pavan & Mr. Singh (Hindu & Sikh respectively) to place the origin of MR. Rojpiboonphun. Pakistan/India but no more precise, they said. As to Ekapol... they didn't laugh when I referred to him as a dude!

nitroman, your right. I don't do window regulators. Instead I mould carbon fiber undertrays, rewire gauge clusters, weld and machine brake brackets, and design and build massive turbo upgrades, + rollbars and BOV pipes in my spare time. Then I don my flight attendant uniform and go galavanting around North America. 8) weeeeeeee

Now you just need to do something with that gungy looking coolant header tank. What about a nice shiny SS one ?

Believe it or not. I bought 3 new one already and they all kept breaking and cracking. The latest new one (never fit to the car) was sent out for sourcing having a new stainless steel one made. Oooo... I can't wait.

The one in the picture is Marie's old tank. I kept borrowing it from her and sent back after I fit a new one, then it broke, then I borrowed it from her again.... That trusted old looking tank saved my life few times already

Really that they don't make it like they used to any more. If you look at the original tank, it has this verticle line bracing the whole tank at the back on the inside stiffen it up, which is not there in the newer design. Some people there might have thought "hey this verticle line inside the coolant tank slow down the water flow in the tank", then they just remove this bracing line in the newer design.... something they learnt from the accordion intake hose design ... lol.

El-Kabong eh? Nitroman... lol..
Thanks Doug and Dico for the comments.
