Elan Cursor -- For Download -- 7 colors

Postby tweetdriver63 » Wed 16.04.2008, 04:46

I've just been doing a bit of experimenting.

http://www.mediafire.com/?gz9dghbhmdt

http://www.mediafire.com/?yhtmzniykx0

Download the files and put them into your C\WINDOWS\cursors directory, then go to Control Panel\mouse\pointers, in the "customize" dialog, select "Normal Select," click browse, then go to the file "red elan" in your cursor directory and double-click it. Next, select "working in Background, " click browse, then double-click on the file "Ani Red Elan." Now click "Apply" and "OK" and you're off and running.

This will give you a windows cursor that looks like the picture below. When you click something, it will spit smoke from the tailpipe while the computer is "working."
The "hot spot" is at the top/front of the bonnet.

Actually, the original picture I used to make the pointer is of a Medina car. I just photoshopped the color change before using in my icon making program.

I'll try to get to it tonight. I'll try to do a BRG, a NMY, a blue, a black, a silver, and of course, a Medina for the :gray: among us. That should cover just about everybody.

Just trying to give back a little.

All your wishes come true!!

Just use the links for the color car you want, and follow the directions in the initial post (substituting the correct file names, of course). The first post of this thread has the links for the red cursor.

Enjoy the frivolity!

Sorry if I disappointed any white or silver Elan owners. I just couldn't get them to look decent.
