Any difference between S1 and S2 seat covers?

Postby E18N SE » Thu 24.04.2008, 17:30

Hi,

I am ordering some seat covers for my SE but the supplier can only make seat covers for the S2. Will they fit?

Help will be appreciated.

yes.....
the se seats had the stripe but are the same shape as the s2....
the s2 had a perforated leather central section......

the only other difference was the seat base of the s2 but this was to stop you falling through like the se seats did when the support clips finally gave up and let the bottom fall out of your seat

early se's had stripes (and half leather)
late se's had perforated leather (and half leather)

s2 had perforated with coloured piping (and half leather)

Can't wait to see your new lounge settee - is it 2 SE seats bolted together ?

Not all S2s have contrasting coloured piping, it was an option (which I didn't take) standard piping is grey to match the grey leather.
