I got my insurance through Classicline, £228, 5000 mile limit, £100 xs, that's for me and the bread knife. I'm 37 and she's 36 with obviously always helps.

They used to do free track cover too, but sadly I hear new policies don't have it now.<br>

Gentlemen, Have to tell you that being an even older fart has its benefits. I have just signed up with NU direct for £136 fully comp. I have elected to pay a £1020 excess, but then I have never had a claim in 42 years driving. OOooops shouldnt have said that.<br>Good luck with your quotes. Try the online companies as these give you the opportunity to explore their pricing structure and get the best for least.<br>Teddy

have got quotes from firebond & confused.com..<br>firebond gave me a best quote of £344<br>confused quotes was £299 with churchill... thats £37 cheaper than norwich union my current insurer...

It's renewal time again, and still struggling with my S2!<br><br>Main problem is that it's still under 10 years old, and not my main car (company car driver), so most companies don't know how to handle it. This results in quotes for £1,800, which at 34 I thought I'd seen the back of!!!<br><br>Footman James are still winning at £454 (it's a classic policy, even for a 9 year-old car), and there really isn't any else that's been close.<br><br>If anyone else is in a similar position with an S2 and has a recommendation, it's not too late!<br><br>Thanks,<br><br>Ian
