when i go to print a page in the service manual the copyright message obscures the text. when i have printed pages from the parts manual i don't have this problem. Is there a way round this?
Cheers Chris
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

Unfortunately (and I'm not proud of this) I've forgotten the password I used to protect the watermark when I applied it. So, unless we have un-watermarked copies to upload and replace we're going to need to scan again.
You're right Gareth, not adsivable!

With Acrobat Writer, it is possible to copy and paste the pages without the watermark........................... and if you think I'm offering, I'm sorry, I'll have to pass on this one; I can't find my CD so limited to Acrobat Reader.

Mine was kindly sent thro the post by one of the LEC members - I assumed they were all the same. I can make a copy if it would help.

And me !
Except I've also got a LHD Parts Book and the Service Buletins in black on white, not the white on black 'negative' images.
(which i have supplied to LEC hierarchy for 'uploading' as and when time permits)
(And I've got Acrobat full version 8

)
If anyone wants any/all of them, I'm sure i could make up a disc or two and post it out to LEC members - and I'm sure Geoff would be pleased to hear from you afterwards

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?
