have code 15 on my car and am looking to find a cheaper replacement than the £50 from sj sports cars.
have heard that this item from the esprit will fit for a snip of the price. Can anyone advise on this, or suggest another option?

I can never understand why they stop at £50... You’d think having got over the initial idea of selling something for 20 times its value; they’d keep going, like they do with women’s handbags.

The Intermotor 55511 is the equivalent to the GM/Isusu 8-25036979-0 quoted on WikiLEC. It is used in the Vauxhall/Opel Monterey 3.2 V6 among others.
Intermotor are part of Standard Motor Products based at Nottingham, see
http://partfinder.smpeurope.com/index.h ... alue=55511 .
I got mine from Bromsgrove Motor Factors (at Worcester) for £20 inc, I am sure it will be available at other factors

Gary got his from here,
http://www.discountautoparts.com/index. ... tautoparts, but we found they wanted $50 for postage, so he bought 3, & we shared them.
JPS M100 was built from bare chassis up to create one off M100 in the mould of JPS Team Lotus
