Am I correct in thinking this pipe made at 3" diameter will be fine to bolt directly onto the Garret turbo upgrade?
I know it has possibly already been answered, but my brains slightly frazzled.
Not quite as much as Montys though, who missed his flight this morning!

I'm doing a 2.5" pipe for the "turbo" gents as this is what will work with the factory trashcan. If you would like a 3" I can do that as well but you may need to source a filter or filter box. If toy want to do one like Ekapol, Paul W and I have the filter box is from a 92-95 Honda Civic.

Thanks Marie. I 'may' revert back to the smaller size then. But then again... :-)

Elanman,
Did you want all of your connectors in Yellow? Also did you want the upgraded Turbo intake pipe or just the regular IHI pipe? I noticed you signed up for the GT2560 turbo upgrade. That is why I'm asking.

Basic Question

Postby DeanG » Mon 16.06.2008, 22:00

I have a basic question. What vacume line gets the T fitting? I didn't see this covered in the posts, maybe I missed it.

See where the silver-hose coming from the DOHC arcs downward on its way to the boost gauge transducer?
There's a T-fitting I spliced-in, where another silver-hose runs behind the intake-manifold to the BOV.

That engine compartment is a beautiful thing to behold, Matt.

Question for LotusGirl: would it be a problem to request unpolished pipes?

thanks
