Can anyone reccomend anywhere to get servicing done in this area, Tunbridge Wells. There is Lipscombe in Maidstone and Maidstone Sports Cars and I believe Dream Machines in Heathfield. But does anyone have experience of any of these?

Apparently Troy Halliday has opened a new Lotus workshop in Sevenoaks. He was the chief engineer of Simon's (Bigsi) Esprit restoration.

Never used him, but it's in the latest Club Lotus mag.

I have used Maidstone sports cars and can say that they were brilliant.
Knew exactly what they were on about with the elan.

Troy comes highly (for a midget

) recommended on LEF for his work on Esprits (and the odd Mini Beamer). Certainly worth a call to guage his knowledge of Elans I would guess. He'll certainly be able to get to parts of the engine bay that most of us can't.
Drop Bibs or Kimbers a PM if you need a first hand opinion.

Quote from Bibs after I saw his Esprit and commented "I wouldn't fancy changing that cam belt":
"No problem. Give it to Troy. It only takes him 10 minutes".
'nuff said.
