I seem to remember that one of the motor refurb kits is actually for 'astra power window motor'.

Does this mean the headlamp motor and an early astra elec window motor are one and the same?

SJ Sportscars appear to do one as well http://www.sjsportscars.co.uk/

OVERHAUL KIT for HEADLAMP MOTORS Includes drive rollers, gaskets, screws and instructions. Sufficient for a pair of motors. - SJ082M0033

I've had a few things from them and advice and I've always found them helpful and fast.
Alas soon to be Elan-less
I keep telling myself it is for the best
