Last thoughts . . .

The only thing I can think of . . . I know the car was in an accident and that the front of the vehicle was hammered. The double wishbone suspension is mounted to a raft which is then mounted to the frame through a series of bushings. My thought is that it could be possible that the raft was shifted back during the accident. Someone aligned the car with it back. Eventually the raft popped into the correct position and instant misalignment. What do you guys think? The mechanics were really good and they traced everything from the steering knuckles to the wheels.

Are you sure the steering column hasn't collapsed? The are designed to be telescopic in an accident (so you don't get impaled by it).
