Sorry but there IS no 6. Unless there's a 7, 8, 9 & 10 too! Each run has to be a multiple of 5.

And now one of YOU 5 needs to pick up the baton and run with it.

Here's the seller's original ad:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 36390&rd=1
Don't worry about it saying none are available - they are a MSD main dealer.
I conversed with Pete at Atlanticspeed.com who was very helpful.
And Atlanticspeed@aol.com is their email address.

Matt RI has stepped up to the plate as a Stateside contact.
So the seller can just ship by "cheapo domestic parcel rate" to him, then Matt can, er, "lose" the invoice and forward the parcel to the organiser of the next run.
That will probably cost a tiny bit more in shipping, but should avoid £60 per shipment going to Golden Brown!

So in a nutshell, each buyer needs 2 coil packs, which cost $45.60 each.
Atlanticspeed.com will ship a maximum of 10 at a time in a USPS Flat Rate box, which will cost $44.15 (although it could be a bit less than that to get it to Matt RI).
Then Matt will remove anything incriminating (!!!) and forward the box to the organiser for distribution, hopefully avoiding any extra costs.

All you have to do is:
Collect $95.62 (2 x $45.60 + $44.15/10) from everyone (plus 3.5% if using PayPal) and send it to Atlanticspeed.
Get Atlanticspeed to send the package to Matt RI - obviously you'll need his address first.
Ask Matt to find out the shipping cost to you, collect the money for that and send it to him.
Matt will then send the package and you just need to distribute it domestically.
Striking fear into the hearts of duplicate posts everywhere...! :P

Neil ;-)

I thought this thread had lost momentum. It stays dormant for over a week (which surprised me after the speed the originals filled up) then completes in 12 hours!

I'll look into the details...but not tonight. I am aware that this thread contains everything I need to know. :smt023

I have sent out PMs to those involved in the recently subscribed run.

On another point: has anyone who has fitted these noticed a performance improvement?

Sorry for my absence- I have been traveling a bit and not been in the forum of late. Got Rip's PM regarding this (thanks for the bump!) and wanted to say that I would be happy to forward the coils on to you to avoid 'the dreaded'.

I need to do a bit of research to find the shipping costs to forward the box across the pond. If it is more than $120 we are looking at a non-savings, right?

I will get in contact with Pete at Atlantic for box dimensions and weight to see if I can get a ballpark estimate to make sure that you will see some savings over the VAT.

Feel free to PM with questions!

The claim is that they produce more powerful spark which produces smoother idle & mid-range power.
I was hoping someone had logged some before & after data with Elanscan. I know I will :D

It's very noticeable....

My OEM coils were on there last legs, so when I fitted the new ones you really notice the difference... The acceleration to.... smooth and quick...

I may well jump on later, but for the moment I have too many other things going on.

If anyone else is in the 1-5 spot for parts hoarding then maybe they wouldn't mind stepping on to the second run to allow Foo to get the parts he needs?

I'm doing it for the same reason :)

BTW I'm assuming each slot is for a pair of coils since we'll need 2 to replace the set?
