They do look great. Hope you can get the paint matched better though. It looks like when I had to get my rear bumper and the corner of the spoiler re-sprayed after a slight bump. They forgot to blend across the adjacent panels, and it was obvious when the light hit it.

I'll put some more illustrative pictures on when I get a chance to take some - this whole job was fitted over only a weekend while the car was available, so it was all a bit more rushed than I would have liked. The paint was only intended to be a temporary job for the same reason, but Nige is planning to respray it before Hethel.

i did put myself down for the rear deck
but i was wondering if the fairings/ rollbar could be bought at a later date
somewhere later in the year /begin next year?
or is this a one of buy opportunity
money is a bit tight right now

When I asked Simon if it would be possible for him to make this for me I asked him to make it possible to fit speakers.

He says that the will fit perfectly in the roll hoop covers.

Do you mean inside the squarish pods on the tonneau cover or mounted somehow inside the open area of the hoops themselves? Wasn't quite sure what you meant. :smt102

I meant for him to design it so that the speakers would fit into the tonneau cover. But he designed the humps square.

But he says that the fairing that fits over the Roll Hoops will accecpt possibly up to an 8" speaker.

As Simon has said this was all fitted over a weekend and the rear deck was in primer and being rubbed down when I arrived at Simons on Friday Lunchtime. The green on the rear deck was a quick colour coat and although not yet fully cut or polished the difference in colour is exagerated in the photo. I do however hope to have both my hardtop (long overdue) and the rear deck painted to match the rest of the car by Hethel.

I was hoping for the chance of getting them into the bumps on the tonneau cover. Even just 6.5" midrange speakers or a pair of 6" subs would be nice.

May just be me, but they don't look tall enough for either of those. I'm just eyeballing it, but it looks like the biggest they would fit might be about 4x6 inch.

I dont think putting speakers into the bubble on the hood cover is sensible. It's a double skinned moulding and you would need to cut it about a bit to fit them. There is more scope for fitting them in the hoop fairings and just as much and probably more space. They will however sit directly behind the seat headrest whichever you fit them in, so most of the output will be directed at the back of the seat.

But not nearly as much as with the OEM speaker location.

I am on train now going down to collect my car from SPC Design.

It should have Roll Hoops, Fairings and Twin bubble fitted.

I am currently offshore so can't post any pics.

I have not had Twin Bubbles painted and was going to wait till it was painted before posting. ( looking for good paint shop near me )

As for the roll hoops and fairings I am well impressed.

Cheers
