Two two allen screws can loose on one of my headlights the other day and caused the washers to fall out, but only fell into the gap beneath the light. I have spent hours ever since trying to get the unit lined up perfect again (if it ever was perfect). I have 5 washers under the one side and a single one on the out side but I cant get it to sit smooth with the bodywork so that it doesnt rub when the headlight is raised
Does anyone have any help / tips for this as im too much of a perfectionist to leave it be.

It can be a pain

Align the housing without the motor rod attached to ensure all of the gaps are even. Then reattach the rod and adjust accordinglly. Take your time as it can be a frustrating endeavor. It took me a few hours to get mine to sit right.

Now let's sit back and see how long it takes for one of the gutter-minded members here to make a comment about you getting your headlights to sit right.
Oops.........
Damn.
