Rumour has it that they kept water out  :smt044 :smt043 :smt042

It's probably just the cynic in me, but I wonder if Lotus aren't just giving us the run-around here, I mean how long has this fiasco of seals being supplied apparently 'not fit for purpose' being going on? And as someone so rightly pointed out, it's not as if the original ones were anyway, so this is a odd time to be getting so picky about the quality. I'd be surprised if they weren't at least an improvement on the dog-chewed ones we're all living with.

Can we not get Lotus to allow US to trial the new seals-- or allow us to deal direct with the supplier (any idea who that is?)
Sy, who have you been talking to at Lotus?

Yeah. I don't need them, but it's really past time for Lotus to s**t, or get off the pot.

LEF Bibs informed Lotus have a stock the seals !!
"Having been out of stock for a couple of years you may have been feeling the rain dribbling down your neck due to failed A Pillar seals.

After much work Lotus now have a stock of these seals for you at half the original price, £150 inc VAT per pair.

Please contact your local dealer and place an order, limited numbers available!

B100V0117F & 118F"
