Das nice. To see the car in colors I'm not used to brings back an appreciation for the lines of the car. I like the Kia lights, but seeing a car with them makes me question whether I'm looking at a Lotus or a Kia! Probably, I like the Kia lights best, but the "question of origin" expressed above is a favorable argument for the late Esprit "rounders."

if you mean lotus or kia.......look under the bonnet......
one with a turbo.....one without.........however if its an NA check the V5 (one says lotus...one says kia)...oh..BTW a V5 is a reg document for all you guys not in the UK
interior....but you'll only know the difference if you know what an lotus interior looks like.....

its all supposition but thats what Id reckonare your best bets.....
ths kia also has a slightly different front and rear end (bumpers...lights..rear lights obviously..IIRC)........

I also dont think they retained the lotus/bbs alloys

Oh shes a LOTUS alright, all you have to do is start her up, (with a 2.25 pleco)
And get her moving (HKS turbo dump valve & steel inlet conversion pipe) not plumbed back to the dustbin (BIG SWISH in every gear with a little rigth foot) (the wife thinks thats the best bit about driving her, she can frightin the s**t out of the old ladies on the high street )

As fir the Kia light only on since august and only the second time I have driven her since but I have always liked them from when I first seen them on Sy's car. I think they brings the rear right up to date.
