Simon, could you verify the cost of just the tonneau cover itself with the bubbles unpainted? Thanks!

The tonneau cover (or deck) is £325 unpainted.
(apologies for my slow response, Blair)

No worries Simon. I'm asking because I'm considering using your tonneau covver as the base to try to make some pods that match the "uneven" lines of Marie's rollbar hoops I have installed. I'm guessing it will be reasonably easy to add material to it and build it up some more before painting. This isn't an immediate project - perhaps for next year. Thanks!

If you just wanted a quick 'splash' of the upper surface to use as a basis for modifying, that would cost relatively little - in fact, shipping it over would be the main cost as it would need quite a big box. Or, if you just wanted the two individual 'bulges' to graft onto an existing panel, this should be quite cheap to send.

Hi Simon, I think that, if I decide to do this, I'd want to have the entire cover shipped although I know that'll be expensive. I've always tried to retain every original part I've ever removed and prefer not to carve up the original piece where I can find a another piece to work with. We'll have to see if this makes sense at all to do after factoring in shipping (if you're sending one over to North America soon let me know what it ended up costing to ship) and other things. One option may be to source a used cover here and then have you send over something that can be grafted on as you've suggested. Thanks!
