Chris/Stef-

I don't mind putting together another run and forwarding them on to you to avoid VAT. Atlantic Speed does ship directly to the UK, but they put face value on the package- that was the only reason for organizing the group buys with me as an intermediary. I would think that the reduction is probably more worth it if you have a full run of 5 sets (10 coils) though? The flat rate shipping (about $40US) is the same whether Atlantic Speed or I send 1 or 10 coils. Just let me know whenever you are ready and if you want someone to adjust and re-pack I will be happy to arrange things for you from this US if you so choose.

John without wishing to open the flood gates, I think that 18-20 years is about their life expectancy judging by the number of peeps that have been having trouble with CP's just recently.

well thats the 5 sets. If you guys are ok with it i'll leave sorting it all out until the new year. I wouldn't want things to get lost in post etc at the busiest time of the year for the postal services.

First- Chris: my apologies, I received your PM and then left on a business trip and am just catching up now that I am back in town... I will attempt to answer your questions below:

Waiting until after the holiday is fine by me- we can get back in touch in the New Year to sort out. Just let me know when. The process is pretty simple- I will shoot you each over my info so the funds can be sent to me via paypal. I will order the 10 cp's and have them shipped to me. Once here I remove them all out of their plastic packaging (so they can fit in the flat rate postal box), wrap them up with the paperwork that comes with each and send them out to the organizer (Chris) who can distribute them locally. If some of you are in the same location and you want me to send to another person- I am pefectly happy to do that, just let me know! I did not hear that anyone got zapped with additional VAT the way that I sent them last time, so hopefully our luck continues...

mnemonix- Chris is correct, only 5 fit in each box, so you have two choices- wait for another four people or if you are in dire need you can have yours sent alone and assume the full cost of shipping (about $40 IIRC). I will put you down as batch 2 unless I hear otherwise- but you are first to move up to batch one should someone drop out...

Batch One:

3. Ailwyn
4. Discovery
5. PaulW

Batch the Second:

Thanks for making that all clear Matt. Are you OK with that mnemonix?

OK guys we need another 4 GBers to make up batch 2!!!!! As I said before, my personal feeling is that on our nearly 20 year old cars the Cp's are nearing the end of their natural. This is simply based on the number of peeps that have recently told me that their CP's have gone down and not on any scientific information.

Cheers Chris

edit

As it looked like the 2nd batch would take a while to come together (no other takers at the moment) I jumped on an ebay deal for only a bit more than the group buy would have cost, so I have no need now.

Okay- the holidays have passed and it is nearing time for me to get a move on and start this party. In the next couple of days I will shoot off a pm to make sure we have five committed LEC'ers. Then it is off to the races.
