No problem, happy to give it a go, will you just package it with the turbo bits?

Hi Marie,
Sadly I understand only half of what is said on this forum, especially when it s beginning talking technical, but I like the way you treat the Elans so happy to be in this project. If I can be of any help. Do not hesitate...
Do I remember right of you writing in French ?

the eyebrows that you speak of are not present on the kia rear lights that i have fitted to mine.
are you looking to put the eyebrows ontop of the new LGM rear?
http://awsnet.co.uk/lec/images/clemsarse.jpgquite bad picture but can go to lockup and take better one if needed.
basically what i am saying (whilst possibly offering up an opinion thats not required) does it need eybrows?
are eyebrows the only difference between UK and ROW?
off to look at other rROW thread to prehaps answer my own question...

I think the plan is that there will not be any eyebrows.

Exactly right. I need the eyebrows to mould the tops in order to get the proper curve at the top edge. This is how the ROW valance will attach to the car, at least on the upper edge. The Federal cars eyebrows are very different with large bulges at the corners. This is how the current mould looks. It has a bulge at each corner on the top. They are very prominant in the photos on the FED thread. I'm going to need to take a mould of the difference and somehow create a plug to allow me to mould the ROW variants. Alot of labour intensive work.

Just a quick render of where the CF will be. you can also see the bulges I was referring to earlier as this is a FED version..

I appologize, I hadn't read it. You have PM though.
Ailwyn, yes.
All that have listed, I need to know which of the versions (standard or with the carbon fibre insert) each would like. Pricing will be identical to the FED for the two versions. Does that male sence? Moving along, I need to know as I may need to get more CF. In an attempt to keep shipping costs down I would also only like to ship to one or two locations. Thoughts?

Only that you may have been thinking of something else..... MALE .....and SENCE ...
something my misses would say don't go together in the same sentence ....

Bonjour Marie,
Are the eyebrows the black plastic thing that come on top of the lights ?
For mine I would like it standard .
I think shipping it to normandy is a good option as most of us are not too far ...

(it doesn t make me any probolem to travel anywhere to pick it up).

I could be different, but am happy with standard (it'll be painted green anyway).

Just a thought : have you seen The UK (Chris P's) rear valance?
I picked up mine yesterday and am very pleased with it.
I will get it fitted in conjunction with a TVR type backlit number plate
Easy "bolt on" construction
My only problem is that I'm not capable of doing the Electrics or painting myself

Yes seen and it's not the only one as there are now several options for fitting Elise rear lights, it's great to have a choice.
Chris P's is a nice piece of work but personally I'm not so keen on the wholly flat rear panel, I also am not so keen on the individual pods for the Elise lights and retaining the black plastic number plate surround.

Marie,
As per PM I have removed myself from the list.
I'm happy to continue to help out any way I can.

So I'm fairly well along with the FED valance. I need a set of euro/ROW eyebrows to borrow for a few weeks while I mould them. They will be returned as recieved probably cleaner

I'm going to build the prototype from them and will most likely send the eyebrows back with it. I'm looking to recieve the eyebrows by May.
