With just three jobs left on my ELAN. Brakes. Leather re-connilised. And Exhaust. A re-spray is getting ever nearer.
Can anyone reccomend anywhere that they know of to be superb?
How is OPTION 1 as this is my local choice?
Anything to look out for or be aware of? Coming from the car trade, I know my paint jobs and am a really fussy bugger!

If Option1 is local to you then i'd use them.I had the front end done last year there and i couldn't fault their work, they even give you a cd to show you the work in progress.

I'm getting mixed P.M's about Option 1...
What to do?
I won't stand for a shoddy job and therefore can't be arsed to chase people around that may have done a shoddy job and inevitably come to massive blows. First time! Right time! Everytime!

I have just had a call from the guy servicing my car AND he has told me that the final assembly on my car was a shambles, Paintwork is fantastic but,
Anti roll bar were less than hand tight, (Just as well I havent driven it hard since i got her back Bastards could have KIlled me) (sorry about the language BUT!!!!!! )
Intercooler hose NOT on at all,
They reused a jubblie Clip that was rusty and bent,
Self tappers used and NOT screwed home and NOT straight,
A BOT used and poking into the intercooler (Too Long)
The coolant bottle was almost empty (could have Killed the Engine)
And the drive shaft seal was NOT spotted during repair (was NOT leaking before)
This guy has experience in preping race cars and he REALY was NOT Impressed.
So the moral of the story is Option 1 are Great at painwork but DONT let them REBUILD your car
