hi everyone
started the car today but realised ther was smoke coming in from the exhaust pipe mid back section where the bend is . this is towards the back end pipe . had a look and found out 10 pence size hole in it.i dont know id to get some exhaust tape and run it around and securely hmm not good

.The car is up for a MOT so this is a problem as its rusted . i dont know if i have to replace the whole section or that part only. I had a look at SJ sportcars for exhausts and there are four sections to this now my main question is which part of the exhaust is the hole . i really want to replace this section only for now .
sorry i cant to seem to upload any photoes.it keeps coming up as only allowed 512kib when i have got one Jpeg image sj's have this below
CENTRE SECTION (Turbo, non-cat) SJ100S0003
EXHAUST DOWN PIPE, (Series 1 Turbo ) C100S0023F
INTERMEDIATE PIPE (Lotus) For all non-catalyst cars C100S0007F i think its the centre section but im not sure .

IIRC it's a seven piece exhaust system not including the turbo...
So no is the answer, but SJ's do call it the centre section... the photo's a give away...

Isn't the complete SS system from SJ's a decent price at 256 GBP?

Wait until you see how much shipping is! (Seriously)
I have this exact item, which is how I know the shipping amount; 148.87 GBP back in 2002. I listed this for sale several months ago. Look in the items for sale section.

Yeah, I would have figured as much, but the guy who's looking is in the UK, so I'm sure he wouldn't have to pay that big international shipping cost.

Following the unfortunate hassle with PECO and Administration / Liquidator the LEC option became Piper.
IIRC - Piper 2.25" exhaust system was £293.75 delivered (even cheaper for first batch) still cheaper than PECO on Ebay.
Now that I've got mine fitted and motoring - represents amazing value for money, build quality, fit, performance, noise, noise and noise again!
Didnt get a PECO - so cant comment
Got a Piper - thoroughly recommended.

Im guessing that some of it would be the same but some will definately be different just due to the cat bit
