Good luck with that.....
I expect to make a loss, and don't care one iota. I aim to get my money's worth of fun.
Gareth,
Have you thought of leasing it to a historic hirer, or better yet to one of the companies who supply period vehicles to the film/TV industry?

That would put your agreed valueation out the window. Max&Andy

making money in the next 2 years......urm.....
nah not yet......maybe in about 7 or 8 years...once its get to the 25 year mark then probably
are you aware that youve got the slower version too
as for agreed valuation you pay an additional premium for the guarantee.....
if you went for markey value it would be cheaper....
but thats a choice you have to make

the max milage on an agreed value policy is usually about 6000miles max......
theyve probably also worked out that your agreed value is not that different to your actual market value

Max and Andy,
Your posts make my brain hurt. If you 'KNOW' what I mean....
Please take pity on the old farts amongst us and write in something more like English than text speak, with all that dull old punctuation and proper spacing.
Please, for the love of God.

MnA
the car was in a crash.....it went to the garage to get an estimate...
it was declared unrepairable......hence written off......and when that happens theres no way back....not when its a cat 'b'....'c' or 'd' possibly but no...768 is no more:(

I didnt know that.R.I.P 768 . Whats worth what im confused now. What are the shut lines like on the +2 .Did you ever consider putting 5 speed in it.How did you make the choice of which car to sell .Tuff choice.Im still not convinced that weve done the right thing buying a modern classic.Im still in two minds.Infact if sombody came along with a nice old classic Lotus or a ginetta g15 it would be a hard choice .Even though we had the choice of these 4 months ago.I think if we had bought an old car we would of been byeing it for me instead of Max.So i opted for the newer mark. But i still think i could have my arm twisted.andy&Max

Have you anymore photos close ups if possible.Of both if possible.I wouldent mind seeing the yellow one aswell and what else you have tinkerd with.

the +2 became the choice for a couple of reasons really.......one being that the wife doesnt like driving it......she doesnt mind being in it but as its lower than the m100 she always feels like shes sat on the floor in it........
the other being the mileage...I need another car that I can use everyday.......could well be 500+ miles a week......so the +2 is not a choice I have.........
cheers
G
