Anyone know how to or could recomend someone (garage etc)to get my boot lock back on.
i have the barrel with a piece of rubber around it & a piece of metal which fits around
the barrel sort of horse shoe shaped although i'm not sure if it goes on from the top or bottom. i know, i'm a philistine. i've owned four others but can't remember what it looks like all put together (i bought this one with the lock out) i've fiddled around with it to no avail, did i mention i'm also useless at fiddling around with stuff.i know, i've bought the wrong car.also the bumper has dropped on one side i think due to the adjustable suspension being to low at front & bumper bottoming out on floor any recomendations of places that could sort this apart from main dealer?
cheers mark

This is a lot easier if you remove the boot (trunk) lid and set it on a table down side up.
You can then remove the rubber grommet and all should be revealed, it is straight forward all be it a bit fiddly.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

Straightening up the rear bumper is quite easy - just undo the bolts, get a couple of chums to hoik it up, evenly, and tighten them up again.
