Applemac on Windows 2003 domain

I have windows Server 2003 controlling a local Domain. My windows network produces Ultra High end graphics and I need to share these files with an apple mac network. I typically have 50gig coming out of the render farm per sequence to be implemented into a commercial film, so fire wire HDDs are a logistics nightmare. Has anyone experience in binding a mac to a local domain?

The problem that you'll have in connecting Macs to W2K3Server is that by default W2K3S encrypts network comms. You'll need to change the security policy to only use encryption when availalble:
Administrative Tools > Domain Controller Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options >
Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always). Set to Disabled.

Then you need to reload the security policy.Open a cmd window and type:
gpupdate
enter
exit

You're done. HTH

Bootcamp the Mac and have the best of both worlds. Macs run well on XP!
