Yes I have just bought an azure blue S2, Sophies was the first one I looked at last year and yellow is not my first choice of colour and I also ended up going abroad for the summer so timing was not right.

I have a serial cable you did for me a while back but have now upgraded to a laptop sans serial port. Is it possible to convert a serial cable into a USB cable or are they fundamentally different? Would a serial -> USB converter work as a workaround?

Alan,

I'm happy to sell you a new USB interface or a USB-serial converter (see here) just take off the 20% LEC discount. I can only salvage the ALDL plug off the serial lead so it's only worth a few quid to me I'm afraid. Don't be tempted to try the cheap USB-serial converters off eBay (as a few of us have already) - they will most likely not work as they cannot be made to communicate in real time.
