Servicing North West England - Blackpool area

Hello all, can anyone recommend a garage around the St. Anne's / Blackpool area to get our newly aquired Elan serviced at? I was thinking about taking it across to Chris Foulds but the car hasn't really been driven in the last few years so I'm not sure I want to drive it that far. It needs an MOT and a good service. Thanks!

Well the guys at Phoenix motorsport in Church (near Accrington, 01254 384071) did a great job getting the car back on the road. I'd totally recommend them, and will be the only guys I'll be using to look after the Elan from now on. I got the car delivered to them by secartransport.co.uk - they transported the car on the same day I rang them for a good price. I've had fun driving the Elan this weekend, well apart from the rain!

BTW my parents live in St Anne`s so you may see me about once in a blue moon LOL Actually i was up there last Fri/Sat

The car hadn't been moved in over 2 years but was in very good condition apart from that, so it needed a full service (belts, fluids and filters), the brakes servicing and 4 new tyres. Drives lovely now! We drive to St.Anne's to see my wife's family fairly often so look out for a bright red Elan, unless we're in my other toy - a capri 280!
