Pretty cool although pointless as Lotus have virtually nothing left for body trim chassis etc.

can anybody find the part number for a replacement plastic clip that the bonnet stay clicks into?? I'm not sure what the technical term is for it but mine has snapped so nothing to prop the bonnet lid open with at the moment... loads of Vauxhall stuff on ebay but want the right clip....

PS picking her up next week after 4 months with Spyder Cars in Whittlesey... I still need to take her to Emerald in Norfolk for an engine ignitions check or something due to a misfire that Andy isn't sure of the cause....

I can't remember the part number at the moment, but I fitted a Land Rover part (identical to OE) - it was just over a quid on ebay. (but that was in my old elan, as I have the springy ram things on my current car, so have no bonnet stay)

And if you just happen to live in Greece and need one it will cost a wopping £18.66 - over £16 in postage and packing

I am going to try Dapinky's suggestion as I need one too for the yellow peril

PS isn't it amazing to think our cars contain parts completely at opposite ends of the spectrum ? Land Rover to Maclaren, and all points inbetween.
