It would be great to know this, as the S2 wheel is the most face-heavy wheel I've ever owned. It's five DDD breasts just pull it over to the ground the moment you let go of the tyre. Always lay S2 wheels on their backside upon dismounting, and WARN any wheel shop to do the same, circled in red-pen on your shop invoice.

We started rolling the wheels from the mounting/balancing station over to the washing area and they don't roll nicely - want to fall over immediately. I quickly picked them up an carried them one at a time!

I won't make any snide comments (they've all been done!), but try and be helpful......

I don't know if the S2 wheels were painted a different colour than the SE wheels, but when i did mine, the closest colour match i could find was using Hycote Wheel and Trim Alloy paint.....

They also do Silver, Steel, Bright Silver (chrome) and Gold versions, so make sure that you get the Alloy one!

I'm sure that there are probably others out there which are also close enough not to notice the difference

I tried a few years ago to get the OEM paint codes for our wheels with the help of Bibs, but sadly no joy....

He tried for a good few month as well...

So I guess it's just down to a paint matching service...

C'mon Dico - take it for a spin and bring it up to see Rambo - plenty of space in the back garden for camping. Plenty of beers in the fridge - AND I've got one of those silver pens !!

Wurth German Alloy Silver Paint and Lacquer. Used this to refurbish/touch-up my SE wheels. Probably different colour to S2 wheels but excellent match for SE wheels. £12 per can !!!

I need to rotate my tyres, on Saturday most likely. I'll carry one to the back yard & take a picture of an S2 wheel beside a 16" Fed wheel.

The S2 wheels use a much brighter, shinier, more silver (less grey) paint than the Federal wheels do. This picture doesn't quite do the difference justice. Both wheels are clean/washed. That marks around the center-cap on the Fed wheel looks like someone mared it pounding the cap in place. The Fed wheels came as an off-the-car extra set with the yellow car.
