I've just sold my beautiful Fiat coupe in order to chase my dream of an Elan.

The only problem is I don't really know too much about them!
Yes, I've been reading the forums but (and I know this might be a bit cheeky), I was wondering if there's any members local to my area that would be kind enough to show me theirs (oo-err mrs!). You know, walk me round their car, show me what to look for - generally impart some valuable and much needed advice.
Obviously there's a drink in it (and my gratitude).

Thanks, funilly enough I'd just rung him - seemingly he can help as he doesn't "do" Elans anymore.
He did tell me that I can find everything I need to know here though (so I guess I'm in the right place).
I might have a look at Gary's car in Rutland & Tommy's car in Cornwall when I get the chance - anyone know of any other good S2's I should consider?

Sorry I couldn't talk earlier, I was driving and an Elise isn't the best place for a hands free conversation!
