Dave Eds makes the centre pages

Postby Rambo » Tue 28.07.2009, 07:48

I know the title probably conjured up horrible thoughts and images but fortunately for us he's not there in the full, naked flesh :!:

I just received my recent copy of Club Lotus magazine and opened the pages to the centre where there's a photo of the green and yellow combination from Donington. That UBA registration looked rather familiar to me - also the green BRG next to his. And I'm sure Paul Watkins' and Christ's yellow Custards are there as well but you'd need a magnifying glass to read the reg. plates

The red Elite/Excel (??) and the white pick up truck at either end rather spoil the whole image IMO

misselan (Toni) is next to mine, and on P42. Chris is next to her and on P42 too, as well as in the flesh on P42 too too (but thankfully not wearing one!). IIRC Paul was parked in the row in front, see P26.

Looks like Martin (Texas) is on P12, with Gareth and Nige on P26.

Happy days!

Mine arrived whilst I was away over the weekend and I think we have Chris T to thank for the Donington pictures looking at the credits . I also seem to recognise the umbrella wielding character on page 42.

Good effort Chris, thanks :D

I'd scan the pages of CL mag, but ain't going to risk upsetting Mr Morgan.

chris.t has some of the original photos so it must be best if he posts them, non?

C'mon Captain Slow - :poke:

No one's called me that before! You probably wouldn't if you saw the bill for the fast cat parts and materials. Or my Esprit service bill about £5,000  There's nothing left and I'll officially be uneployed in 4 weeks! I have to draw the line somewhere, so that's where it is.
