How'd you do that then? Last time I looked it was a double post and now it's gone. How did you delete it?
Now it looks like my post isn't funny.

Hi ..Does anyone know about this ...
I e-mailed the seller two weeks ago asking some detailed questions about service History, number of owners, Cam belt , HPI ect ect ect ...But got no replys.
http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... RegLetter=Also, a bit confused about the actual colour ... To me it looked like PACIFIC BLUE ...but when I saved the pictures on my PC and compared them (side by side) to some other Pacific Blue cars (Jackonicko's) ...it seemed a slightly lighter shade of blue.... or could be just a trick of the light .... Any opinions ...
PS .. Am I right in thinking that the car pictured in the LEC banner at the top of this page is Pacific blue ??? (the one in the middle beside the NMY) ..
OHHHHH.. its all so very confusing ... AND... I havent even got an Elan yet ... .. ha ha
Thanks :0)

The car on Auto Trader is Pacific Blue; the one at the top of the page is Azure Blue.

There's nowt wrong with my eyesight - the one at the top of the page is DEFFINATELY Yellow!
(with an Azure one in the middle, and an Aqua one at the back).
The one on AutoTrader is Pacific Blue, - but to answer the original question, sorry - but i have no knowledge of it....
....

Gazza

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

You sure about your eyesight? The rearmost Elan at the top of the page looks to me like it's Medina Green, not Aqua.
Going back on topic, I'd suggest that Sunbird phone the seller of the Pac Blue S2 on Auto Trader. I spoke to him a few weeks back and he was both pleasant and helpful.
If I recall correctly, the car is unmodified and has FSH from Kelvedon Motor Co.. It seems to have been very well cared for. As I am currently sans Elan, I was mighty tempted to go and view it, but went to see another one (a mite closer to me than Lincolnshire) instead.

Your mother said it would make you go blind if you kept on dapinky...
I'm going with Norfolk Mustard (appears to be an S2-perhaps an S.E with S2 wheels).
Pacific Blue S.E (Johns car-aftermarket wheels)
And
Medina S2.

Sorry Ekkers, the centre car is definitely Azure Blue. If you go to the LEC home page, you'll see (at bottom left) the same three cars photographed from a different angle.

Well, we aggree on one thing at least - John_W has got a picture of his Pac blue SE on page 5 of the Autumn/Winter pics thread
(And Norfolk Mustard was never called Yellow!)
At risk of going so far off topic that I'll have to give myself a warning........

Going back on topic, I have a feeling that the LE number of the S2 on Auto Trader is #335. I did check the S2 database at the time but don't think that S2 was on it. I had planned to let Gazza know once I'd seen the car, but that didn't happen.
If you are looking for an S2, Songbird, drop me a PM: I know of a couple of S2s that are up for grabs that aren't on LEC/Auto Trader/Pistonheads. I've seen one of them and the other is, shall we say, quite well known (though not in a bad sense).

Ah ... So ... (as Grasshopper would have said ...that is, of course, if they had'nt found him in bondage gear hanging upside down in his wardrobe... in a lurid sexual act of solo self asphyxiation... Wonder if he had considered having his wastegate ported ... would have saved all the bother ) ...
So... the one on auto trader is Pacific ... and the one on the LEC banner is Pacific ... Thank you for clearing that one up and thanks for all your replys.... Amazing how the colour of the (same) cars can differ so much in differing light conditions....
BTW ... Apparently he was also wearing a Sunderland FC football top ... but the police decided to keep that part quiet ... in case it caused embarrassment to his family !!!!!!!!!
